During the evening, you’ll visit four different stations: photography, archives, artefact collections and exhibitions. We’ll take a break together during the evening for refreshments, which are included in the admission price (coffee, tea and a roll).

Photography

In the auditorium, we’ll be showing photographs from our photo collections relating to your parish. Here, we’ll also tell you about the DigitaltMuseum service, how to navigate and search to find what you’re looking for, and how you can leave comments to help us improve the photo collections.

Collections

In the studio, we’ll display a selection of artefacts that come from or relate to your parish. We’ll also showcase a number of archaeological finds.

Archive

In the Skaraborg Room, we display boxes from the parish archive. These contain newspaper cuttings and other material from your parish. We also bring out a few books from the study library. In this room, you can find out about our digital services, how to search and navigate the museum’s archive, and how to contact us if you’d like to return for a specific enquiry.

Exhibitions

Join a guided tour of the museum’s exhibitions to see how objects from your parish are contextualised within different narratives.
