According to legend, a number of knights and their horses lie sleeping in golden halls inside Mount Ålleberg, just outside Falköping – the Riders of Ålleberg. A few people have caught a glimpse of the gold in these halls, but were never allowed to enter again. Bring your family on a historical adventure and solve the mystery of The Gold That Vanished.

here are many mysteries that have never been solved and enigmatic legends that cannot be explained. In the museum mystery The Gold That Vanished, you will encounter the legend of the Riders of Ålleberg. Throughout history, several people have told stories of being let into a great hall inside Ålleberg, filled with sleeping riders or knights, their golden horses, and heaps of gold. When they later tried to find their way back, the entrance was closed—or had disappeared entirely. This happened, among others, to a farmer who sold oats to the riders but was tricked out of his payment.

Bring your family or friends and help the farmer find the key to the mountain.
