Join an early morning tour to Trandansen at Lake Hornborga, where thousands of cranes gather each spring. The journey begins with pick-up at Falköping train station, where a local guide will meet you and take you on a comfortable bus ride to the lake.
Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by the cranes' impressive trumpeting in the early morning light. The guide will share fascinating insights about the cranes' lives and why Lake Hornborga is one of their favorite spots. After enjoying this natural spectacle, a simple breakfast will be provided.
On the return journey to Falköping, you'll learn more about the unique plateau landscape and the area's rich history.

The tour departs on Monday, Mars 30, 2026, at 06:00 from stop R at Falköping train station. Return is expected around 09:15. Dress according to the weather, as part of the tour takes place outdoors, and feel free to bring binoculars. Pick-up is also available from Mössebergs Kurort, about 1.5 km from the station, but must be booked in advance through Falbygden Tourism.
